Re: Urgent: HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276
Hi there
I have a problem and really wish you can help
I just bought a new HP Laserjet Pro 200 Color MFP M276
I am done setting it up. Went to the menu and enabled the wireless. When I tried to connect to it with my fujitsu laptop, I couldn't see it.
Then I tried to connect to it with my samsung mobile, I found it as a wifi device. I am already connected on my samsung via wifi through the building wifi for the internet. The same with my laptop, connected via wifi through the building wifi for internet. I also have an iPhone doing the same. Is there a software I am supposed to download on all three ?
The printer wifi blue light is blinking. Does this mean there is something wrong with it ? I have been up all evening trying to print and just couldn't do it. I finally put some documents on a usb stick and plugged it into the printer and got it printed.
By the way, it does not print word and excel I noticed. I had to convert it to pdf and then print it. Is that for real ?

Re: HP Photosmart Premium C310a - driver install doesn`t work!
Oh wow, bet this does not help. I have been trying to download the thing, and it never lets me get even 1/4 of the thing, for its regulated by the server to minus its download speed, until finally, its not even giving 0bytes per second. Rip off HP wants you to pay for the drivers on disc... Bastards So I get a printer, and no software, no dirvers, and just a pain in the rear to make anything work, and they get my money.... They are a thief. Not to mention, all of the way they have made these printers are made like chinese communist **bleep**. Buy and old R 40, at least its still working

Re: How do I speak with someone from tech support for a issue??????
The problem is likely one having to do with a previous installation failure or a minor corruption - a misplaced instruction, a bad link, something in the File System on the computer that is not where it belongs.
Regardless, the issue is not likely the fault of the Full Feature Software. That does not mean the computer is bad, it means that there is situation present on the computer that the normal installation program cannot handle. Programs are smart, but there is a limit to what can be done during a standard installation.

You can, if you like, take a look at the following Post:
From pcwizard for Windows 7
Solved - Install Error "The system cannot find the file specified" (hpzprl40.exe)
The solution likely fits your situation. Do understand that where the Post suggests the member install the Full Feature Software, that you would install / work with the Full Feature Software for your printer:
HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One Printer Drivers
The entire Post is lengthy; contains much in the way of repeated content, does not always stick the the subject at hand, and also contains some devisive comments that, frankly add nothing to the constructive solution. Option - Install from the Device Manager
This is an alternate method to install the Driver that may be useful under some conditions. In the context of this overall procedure, it is necessary to have at least downloaded the software from the Printer’s support pages (so that the software package is located somewhere on the computer).
Control Panel> icons > DeviceManager> Imaging Devices>
Right-Clickon your Printer >
Update Driver Software> Browsemy computer for driver software >
Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my system >
If applicable: Selectthe proper device Versionfrom the list > Next
You may be presented with a prompt asking permission to install the Driver:
Select Installto continue
Restart / Rebootthe computer and log in

MacBook Pro does not recognize file needed to download printer software
Trying to do step 3 in the process of setting up my new HP Officejet Pro 8620 printer. Using a MacBook Pro mid 2009 with OS X 10.8.5. When trying to run the download it gives me the following error message:
HP-Officejet-Pro-8620_v12.32.0(3).dmg not recognized.
I just processed all updates to my current system so that's not the issue. Any advice?
Never mind I solved it!

Hello
At this time we have exhausted all of our troubleshooting options over the HP Support Forums. I do believe that your HP Photosmart 6520 has encountered a hardware issue from which is cannot recover from through the reset options.
I would recommend at this point contacting our Technical Support queue by phone to explore additional options.

Re: How can I password protect my HP Office Jet Pro 8600 printer?
Hello
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you're looking for a way to 'block' someone in your office from printing to your HP Officejet Pro 8600 All-In-One Printer from her iPhone. Unfortunately, this is not an easy process.
Because this is still a consumer grade home and home office printer there are only some security features. You are able to put a password on the printer to block the wireless, copy, scan and fax features of your printer. But, this does not stop printing. Because your HP Officejet is on the wireless network, this employee is connecting their iPhone to your business network and accessing the printer that way. The only way to avoid the printer found being found on the network would be to disable the wireless feature on your printer and use it through a direct USB Cable connection with your computer.
The other option would be to take away their privileges of connecting to the office network on their iPhone. Because they already know the password to the network you could change the wireless password. This would stop them from connecting to the network. Once the password is changed you would need to reconfigure the wireless on your printer with the new password. Everything will continue printing fine from your printer and this employee would lose their printing ability because they would no longer be able to connect to the same network.
I'm sorry that there isn't an easier fix available for this issue. I wish you luck with this!

Re: Printer will not do alignment, states busy
Hello
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you're getting a 'busy' message when attempting to perform the alignment on your HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this error. Please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Power Reset:
- With your printer ON, disconnect the power cable from the rear of your printer
- Leave the power cable disconnected for 60 seconds
- After 60 seconds plug your power cable back in
- Your printer should start back up on its own
Once your printer is back to the 'ready' state please attempt to print if your printer doesn't automatically attempt to align. If your printer tries to align please allow if to finish the process and follow any onscreen prompts to complete the alignment. If the 'Busy' message returns please proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Check Power:
Please plug your printer directly into a wall outlet for power. Power strips and surge protectors can cause HP Printers to lack power and not perform properly. Once your printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet please power it on to see how it responds.
Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. Best of luck!
Re: Photosmart 6520 refusing to print photos
Hello
Calling HP Technical Support is free. But, with your printer being 2 years old the options you will get will be for a fee. There is usually a support fee to go through the actual troubleshooting process. But, this won't apply to you because we have already exhausted the troubleshooting efforts.
The other option that may be available to you would be an upgrade, potentially at a discounted price. Because of the issues you're experiencing I think this may be the better route for you to go. I highly recommend you call and listen to all available options before making a decision.
Re: Photosmart 6520 refusing to print photos
I'll give it a try. Thanks.
How to install scan wizard for HP Officejet 4500
Hello,
We have HP Officejet 4500 (all- in- one, fax, copy and scan). We are trying to scan a document but not able to do so. How can we install a scan wizard? Please help, thanks.
Re: How to install scan wizard for HP Officejet 4500
Hi,
No such scan wizard actually. Please try (from page #38 of its manual):
To send a scan to a program on a computer from the HP photo and imaging software
1. On the computer, open the HP photo and imaging software.
2. See the onscreen Help for further instructions.
To send a scan to a program on a computer from the device control panel (direct connect)
1. Load the original on the scanner glass. For more information, see Load originals.
2. Press the left arrow or the right arrow to select the Scan function, and then press OK.
3. Press right arrow to select the program that you want to use (such as the HP photo and imaging software), and then press OK.
4. Press Start.
Regards,
