Windows 10 updated my HP laptop on Friday with build 1803. Since that time I can not connect my printer to my lap top. Microsoft tells me that I need an updated driver that is compatable with build 1803. HP says they have not began to develop them yet so I cant add a new printer or use my current printer that was fully functional prior to the Windows 10 build....Help
Printer Drivers compatable with Windows 10 update 1803 for a HP 4650 printer
Re: Change usb connection from desktop to wireless
I received the private letter, followed the instructions and got along fine until I got to the point where I had to identify a network. What's a network? How do I identify it and it's location?
Re: Print only from mobile
Hi
I have opened new Microsoft account and installed HP software and drivers as per your previous instructions.. However it still not printing anything.
1.
One more thing, When I installed full software from the site, at the end it pop up with Window for Mobile app.. Stating would you like to Expore HP connected...
This window dont have an option to minimize it.. it has only 'close - X ' option.
When I close it... It againg pop up with another window .. stating You can finish set up later on if you exit... with following link. I dont understand the way they used the wordings. .. Is it means that Set up is not completed yet.
2. If I wish to scan I can scan both the ways.. i.e. directly from printer and from Laptop (using HP Smart app)
Hence the problem is with printing ... even I can't print with HP Smart app.
I AM SURE NOW, .. that the problem is because of HP Instant Ink subscription..
SO.. MY PROBLEM WITH PRINTING IS STILL THERE...
Re: HP Officejet Pro 8600 - Printer Assistant Will Not Launch
Just thought I would get back to you on the Printer Assistant problem.
Today I got the Windows 10 2018 Update. After it completed I launched the Printer Assistant and now it is working again. I have been testing after each update since I last posted, but this one fixed whatever was causing the problem. I don't have confidence that it will not be undone by a subsequent update, but wanted to post this in case others encounter the same problem. Note: I have not reloaded any HP software or drivers since the last post.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out
As I understand, your printer is giving "Printer validation error" message,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Are you able to make a photocopy?
Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:
Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers:
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP OfficeJet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
To reinstall, click here: https://hp.care/2ErHi0F. Select your operating system and download full feature drivers
Keep me posted,
For I shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,
And your device is up and running again,
Have a great day
Cheers

Re: My HP 7520 will not print
Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand you are having issues while printing from your HP Photosmart printer. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you recently made any changes on the printer before the issue started?
How is the printer connected? USB/Wireless
Are you able to make a copy from the printer?
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
Perform a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove USB cable, if present.
Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Let’s first try and make a “photocopy” to determine whether the issue is with the printer or not. Place a document on the scanner glass and choose “Copy” option. If the printer is making a good copy, then the printer hardware is fine.
If the copy comes out fine, then I would suggest you try to do a clean install:
First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Photosmart printer entries and uninstall them.
Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
Restart your computer.
Now click on this link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL43773/mp-108670-3/PS7520_1315-1.exe to download and install the printer drivers.
Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Eagerly waiting for your response!
I hope you have a good day ahead,
And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

The Network is your Wireless connection at home. Do you have a Wireless Router Setup?
Check your other devices which are connected to your Wireless Network to identify the Network Name
Thanks
Re: "Printer is in an error state" message & can't find latest driver for macOS High S
Thanks for keeping me posted
I suggest we try a Remove and Re-Add the Printer to the Mac Queue and perform a Printer Reset
Click the Apple menu, then click System Preferences.
Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
Figure : Example of the Printers & Scanners window
Check if the name of your printer displays in the Printers list. Do one of the following steps, depending on if the printer is listed or not.
If your printer is listed, remove and re-add the printer to confirm communication and to make sure the correct driver is used. Click the name of your printer, then click the minus sign
to delete the printer. Once the printer is removed, click the plus sign
, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, then continue to the next step.
If your printer is not listed, click the plus sign, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, then continue to the next step.
Click the Use or Print Using menu, then select the name of your printer.
NOTE: Selecting a Generic driver option from the Use menu can result in limited printer functionality.
Figure : Select the name of your printer in the Use menu
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
If you are prompted to install software, click Download and Install to complete the installation.
Close the System Preferences window.
Try to print
Keep me posted how it goes
