just registered with hp for an envy4522 but wrote incorrect password how can i change it to receive emails?
I never gave it the correct password inthe first instance, by accident, and now it wants a pssword i have never created
Thanks for the reply and glad that the issue is resolved by installing the printer driver using Windows update. Click here.
Windows update would not include printer assistant which would help you to scan documents from the printer or monitor ink levels or manage your printer.
In the absence of full feature software for your printer, if you would like to scan documents or photos, you can download and install the HP scan and capture app from the Windows store. Click here to know more.

this did not work...re-setting the printer did not work at all. i have multiple usb cords. ive used the printer before and worked perfctly fine. I received a new HP computer from work and now im having issues with the usb hardware/software support issues. My companies IT dept referred my to the HP site for help.
here is the error code that appears upon start up of upload. Printer also has BT capabilities and when prompted to connect via BT for driver install, same issue appears at same time of driver installation...

This was unsuccessful, as well. Perhaps I am not doing everything correctly. This time, it created an installation error log and saved it to my desktop. Thanks for trying.

I cannot get my printer to recognize the drivers downloaded to my new IMAC. Suggestions?
Installing print cartridges in new printer with cartridges that came in box. HP ENVY 7645
Getting error
remove and install the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly instslled, then touch ok. Have removed and installed both multiple times. The cartridges are snapped in place. The tape was removed from the cartridges.
Power off and on. HELP!
I have Windows 7 but when I try to access the Print and Scan Doctor I get the message "Print and Scan Doctor does not support Windows XP." I do NOT have Windows XP, I have NEVER had Windows XP. How can I access the Print and Scan Doctor without getting that message?

It was not Windows Update that you access from the Control Panel. It was in the Printer Properties under Advanced, New
Driver where I had to click that because the Deskjet F2200 Series was not listed as a choice I could pick. When the list updated, the F2200 Series was listed.
Have down loaded HP software to help solve problem. Software did not help Had a message from MS about some things I need to fix on the laptop. Sorry, I did not write them down as I did not understand what it was asking

After that, try to Uninstall and reinstall the software again.

I see that you are having issues with the printer driver including the solution center after the recent Windows update. Solution center is an older software and hence may not be compatible with the new Windows 10 environment.
The issue might have been caused by recent updates on your computer. I would suggest you a workaround by changing the compatibility on the drivers. Follow the steps below (Check the fig below for ref):
NB: If the solution center is still not working, I would suggest you use HP Scan and Capture application to scan using your Windows 10 system. HP Scan and Capture is a simple application that captures photos or documents from an HP scanning device or your computer's built-in camera. These images can be previewed, edited, saved, and shared to other applications as well.
Go to http://hp.care/2bUVkrw to download and install the Windows Scan and Capture app.
That should get the solution center working. Let me know!

Printer feeds three pieces of paper either after a print job, at random while idle or when printer powers up.. On the third piece a paper jam error occurs. I have reinstalled the printer drives, reset the printer to factory settings, turned off the printer and unplugged it. Sometimes the paper feed will continue until the paper tray is empty.

I only use Firefox as my browser.
It is version 50.1.0 wihich is the lastest version.
I can download other files from other sites with no problems, whatsoever.
