I understand you are unable to print over the wireless network on the Maverick.

I would uninstall the old printer software.

Then reinstall the printer again by running the Apple Updates.

When you add the printer check to see if it added the printer driver name or the airprint driver.

Try one if that doesn't work delete and add the other one in.

Print out a configuration page and make sure the ip address and network name are valid.

When trying to add the printer does it see it?

What is the IP address? (just the first 3 digits)

Does it show proper network name?
