My formatter board Q7848-61006 in my obsolete LJ3005dn has failed, so I have replaced it with a second hand formatter board Q7848-60002 from a LJ3005n. The the replacement formatter works fine but I can find no way to enable automatic duplexing. Can someone tell me how to configure the replacement formatter to allow automatic duplexing? Is it possible to upodate the firmware to allow automatic duplexing for example?

Photsmart 2570 All-in-one series printer drivers download for Windows 10
I have a perfectly serviceable HP2570 printer and just purchased a new HP laptop after failure of trusty old Dell.
Tried to get printer drivers from HP Support website but this tells me the printer is no longer supported.
I see "Professor" helped solve a similar problem for someone with this printer running under Windows 7. Is there something ou there I can use / get to run my printer under Windows 10 on my new Pavillion laptop?
Thanks to any readers who can help.

Re: Photsmart 2570 All-in-one series printer drivers download for Windows 10
Hi,
Thanks for using the HP forum.
Follow these steps (Blue Dot) to get the IN-OS drivers for your printer.
- Go to Devices and Printers > Add a printer
- Select "Add a local printer"
- Use an existing port (could be Dot 4 or USB port)
- Click on "Windows Update" (may take a while to update) and then "HP"
- Scroll until you find your printer model.
- Click "Next" and walk through the rest of the steps to install your printer.
Do let us know if that helps.
Thanks.
Re: Software for inkjet 8500 A910
Hi,
Thanks for using the HP forum.
Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
Please select the correct printer model.
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
This resource may be useful to help you create scan shortcuts ;

Install or tweak HP Officejet Pro 8610 e driver to ignore USB Flask port?
Hi folks,
I'd like to try installing the drivers for my HP Officejet Pro 8610 e on my company laptop, but there is a strict security policy regarding the use of USB flash drives. In other words - None - ever.
My printer is always connected to our home computer via USB cable. I don't use the wireless feature and I don't connect it to the network. I prefer it as a standalone device - call me old fashioned (but secure). When the rare case occurs that I need to print from my work laptop, I'll just connect the printer the same way. The issue I need to avoid is the printer not being recognized at all because of its on board flash drive showing up as a removable drive.
Is there a way to tell the driver to disregard this virtual removable drive and see the printer only as a printer?
Thanks!

it says like this
Re: reflash 12345 error
I have the exact same problem! Please send me the instruction to reformatted the software as well!
Thank you very much,
Fatal Error 65
Downloaded 20160129(10 Mar 2016) firmware and tried to update the printer. When I click "Send firmware" button on the update utility, printer restarts and displays "Fatal Error 65".
The printer will finish booting, the update utility displays the smiley face but the firmware stays on thhe previous version. Tried it from two different computers - same result.
Current firmware version: 20151102
Windows driver version: 13.20
Re: Fatal Error 65
Turns out this was a user error. I downloaded wrong software (my printer is actually M252DW) After downloading correct firmware and drivers, everything installed without errors.
Re: PhotoSmart C4180
Doc,
Thanks for the speedy responses to my frustrating printer problem. So far, I have done the following: (1) After setting up the C4180 as you say, I placed a document on the flatbed and tried to make a copy. The paper advanced then abruptly stopped (this always happens when I try to use this printer now). Then V E R Y slowly, line-by-line it starts making a copy in color or B&W. So the printer doesn't really copy "right away." So on to the next tip, "If the copy prints slowly." (2) I followed directions (removing power cord, waiting a minute, trying to print again. Same results. (You conclude "printer needs to be replaced." (3) I filled out the short form and eventually found myself in the midst of HP's Printer & Scanner Doctor. I ran this software, and it found no problems with the printer or scanner.
On to your next message and tips ("If this is happening from multiple computers . . .") I purged all of the print queues as you suggested and the problem persists. Although I am lukewarm about my ISP (AT&T U-Verse), who do a lot of finger-pointing in matters like this, I shall contact them with your observation that "There is a device that several other devices are not able to connect to" and see it they can troubleshoot. As I mentioned before, the C4180 works, seems to have plenty of power, but just takes forever to print a stand-alone copy or full text page from a word-processor or page designer. Again, I can use the scanner to insert any material on the flatbed glass into a document quickly and accurately. (And, of course, I can print the resultant copy on another printer on my network. But this is a pain.) This really perplexes me: Why won't the printer function as a stand-alone copy machine (with only the power cord attached), print quickly as it did before, and be done with the job?
In the meanwhile, if you should think of anything else I could try, lemme know. I really appreciate your help and expertise. I shall let you know where I stand with my ISP. (BTW, I reset the ISP router to no avail. Hmmm, I wonder if there is such a thing as a RESET for the C4180?!

P.S. If all else fails, we can always gut the machine, fill it with dirt, and plant flowers in it.

Thank you! This was a brilliant solution James! I spent 3 hours on a chat with 3 different HP tech support people who didn't have a clue! Made me remember why I started building my own computers 10 years ago.... the poor tech support! I owe you a drink as well! Cheers!

Re: Software for HP All-in-One Printer
Hi Sunshyn2005,
I'm justing letting you know, I haven't heard from the other person, so I still need help on my issue. You'll see in my prior post a few questions about the last few steps I took prior to reinstalling the software.
I'll check this thread tomorrow on the assumption that you'll be back.
Thanks,

Ink levels not available for B11a running Windows 10
Hi there,
I recently (perhaps unadvisedly!) upgraded to Windows 10. I now cannot use the Solutions Centre to operate my printer. This is not terribly convenient but I can live with it as I can do most of the things that I do from the printer iteslf.
However, the one thing that is causing me grief is that I have no access to the ink levels. The B110a is printing some strange colours this morning and I think that it is the Yellow cartridge that has gone but I have no way of confirming this.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks,
Ron.
WIndows 10(x86)/Envy 4500 - scans/copies local prints - no longer services print queue
When I upgraded 7 to 10 (x86 Pro) without updating the driver, the printer worked perfectly.
Recently I have experienced a failure to print any jobs. The printer was connected via USB, although the driver had installed a second copy because I have a wifi nic in place and that was detected at install.
I was able to scan, copy and even download internet templates from the panel and produce test prints and scan alignment sheets. Mechanically there is nothing wrong with the print device.
I have followed all of the instructions that I have been able to find, these include:
Removing the USB and using Wireless. I continue to be able to scan and read the ink settings. Commuication is not changed, albeit a tad slower, but print jobs continue to disappear.
I have deleted the USB connection. As above.
I have deleted the wifi printer and all of the software. I have then downloaded the Win 7 x86 driver once again, installed it and it informed me there is a later driver available and installed that.
There was no change to my printing.
I downloaded Print and Scan Doctor, ran it and it reported problems, said it fixed them and sent the PQTestpage.png. This behaved in exactly the same way as all other print jobs. Sat in the queue then disappeared as if it was being serviced but there was no output.
Running the printer testpage produced output - as expected.
The results suggested uninstalling the driver and starting again.
As I have already done this several times I do not believe this will help.
I am wondering if any of the Windows updates I have received have compromised something between the printer queue and the spooler or print server

Re: Driver for HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer G-510
Hi
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I noticed that you cannot install the driver for your HP Officejet 4500 printer. I am happy to help!
To verify that your printer's hardware is functioning, are you able to make a copy using the printer's scanner glass, on the front panel of the printer? Video: Printing a Test Page.
How is your printer connected? Wireless, or USB?
The only driver that is available for this printer and Operating System is available at this website, HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.
Do you see any error messages on the printer's display screen?
If this, or any of the posts on this thread, has helped you to resolve the issue, please click on Accept as Solution on said post. To show that you 'like', or are thankful of my post, kindly click the thumbs up below. If there is anything else I can do to help, please be sure to let me know!
