I got stuck at the number 3 step entitled Delete the HP Envy 7640 series folder in the way: I don't know where to find the C drive. I can't figure out what I am being asked to do. This is what my registry editor looks like after I and deleted the Hewlett-Packard per your instructions. I don't know what the next step is to do. Thanks!
My printer only prints in the APP, when trying to print outside of the app via Microsoft office or online it always comes back as an error but does not say what the error is. I check the APP and it says everything is working fine. I can print from the APP and from my mobile device so I don't think it is the wireless connection that the automated system seemed to suggest. Printer is on, ink is new, no errors on the printer, it has paper, it is the only printer connected to my computer, it is set as the default printer. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I tried buyer one of the pricier models hoping it would run smoothly. No luck so far!
Display light stays on all the time. I do not remember this being the case some time back or is this normal for this printer.
The connection between my HPE--170t computer and my Epson Workforce 600 printer/scanner will no longer allow printer scans to be accepted by the computer. Communications in the other direction (e.g., printing documents from the computer to the printer) still work. I find that recent computer upgrades have caused the problem. What can I do to correct the problem? I'm afraid to roll the downloaded HP change that caused this back, because that may delete other subsequent updates. Advice?
Thanks much Sandytechy20, you are very kind. I followed again your instructions. However the HP site points out to the fact that the printer warranty has expired. I am very disappointed, all the more as the printer is suddenly printing blank pages at present.

I had a former Laptop Dell with Windows 10 and I used in my homeoffice a quite new printer HP Officejet Pro 7740.
After a Dell laptop hardware issue I received from my company IT service a new Labtop Dell i5-836CPU Latitude 5400
with Windows 10 Entreprise Version 1809 OS system.
The rpinter works fine with 2 MAC Books and a windows 7 professionnel Sony Laptop.
The HP printer driver package does not install properly on Windows 10 Entreprise Version 1809 version.
- connection always through USB because of companie cyber security rules ( VPN on Ethernet ).
cable is fine, worked just the day before with the defect laptop and double checked with the Sony.
- scanner is OK, works, Officejet scans properly = commnication ok, firewall fine
- printer indicates correctly ink level = commnication ok, firewall fine
- it is possible to launch printing a test page = commnication ok, firewall fine
but the printer driver sets an error, does not install completely and it does not allow to print anything
Thank you for checking the driver, the printer HP Officejet Pro 7740 is really the best printer I had ever.

I have tried installing the built-in drivers (again) but, after clicking on Windows Update. the Officejet Pro 8620 is not listed as one of the printers. They go from Officejet Pro 8210 to 8710. The 8620 is only listed with the prefix Fax. I assume this is not the one to use?

Printer scheduled to switch off and then switch on is not switching off and the screen stays on all night and is unresponsive. The only way to shut it down is to hold down power button - any ideas ?
I recently upgraded my Windows 7 ultra system to windows 10 pro. Soon after i began getting a dialog box saying that it was installing HP Photosmart Essential. It would do this over and over again. I finally uninstalled all the HP sofware and reinstalled with the latest from the HP site. Now I can no longer select a default paper tray and am missing other options as well. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

I used my HP 1110 deskjet printer before without any problems, but it seems like the printer is unable to connect to my Mac OS 10.13.
I've tried all the instruction I could find online, but none of them seem to work. Cables seem fine as well and the printer can connect to the power. Also my USB port works.
Does anyone know what I could do?

Hello, I've got a question about toolbox application. Is there a chance to using it in Windows 10 x64? I installed driver dedicated for Vista x64 (full install) - there is no driver fo Windows 10, Windows 7. After then I launched Toolbox in compatibility mode (Windows Vista) - it doesn't show ink levels (Cannot monitor USB port, no two-way communication). When I send a command to printer (for example to print diagnostic page), the page is printing. Other documents too. There is a problem with receive informafion FROM printer.
Is there a solution of this problem?

Thanks, install complete. Now my problem is no magenta or pink inks. Grey scale comes out green. Color shows just blue green and yellows. Plenty of ink and have run in-printer cleaner.
I have the HP Photosmart 2610 printer and would like to connect it to my router so that different laptops and PC's can print off of it. However, I have connected the printer to my router and it is not showing up in my network. What am I doing wrong?
All drivers are updated, and even via Control Panel, Devices and Printers, it doesn't show up.

Forgot to mention, the connection from my Netgear router to the printer is via Ethernet.
