Hi,
\What router do you have? a such will likely occur due to lack of support for Bonjour connectivity, the default communication method used by Apple devices.

When installing that package I get the following error:
"The system extension “/Library/Extensions/hp_io_enabler_compound.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update."
@@bhargav905,
Follow the steps I have shared in my previous post to create a new user account on the computer and then install the printer and check.
Also, download and install the full feature software for your printer from the below link.

It appears that I have drivers for the scanner and wireless connection bit not for the printer.
Just removed/uninstalled and received error message
c:\Program Files\HP\HPENVY 4500 SERIES\BIN\HPSSTATUSBL.dll
How do I remove this, tyhe error shoes up on every reboot
I no longer use the 4500
I recently connected my HP Photosmart C4780 to my new computer running Windows 10 (64-bit) and downloaded the HP software to try and connect it to my PC. Somewhere along in the process, things got messy and now the printer will not fully boot up. I think it might have been when I tried to connect it to my wireless network. It gets stuck on the loading screen with the HP logo. I am able to print from the computer, but I can't scan or use the menus on the printer because it is not fully loading. When I reconnect the printer to my old computer (Apple IMac from 2009), it says that the printer is going offline and I can't print anything. I have seen a lot of threads where people ask for factory reset instructions and they are provided via PM. Can I please get these instructions?
Thank you,
Matt Strand
Could you please help me with the exact model name or the product number of the printer?
Check if the carriage is moving freely.
Keep me posted.
Have a great day!
Cheers 🙂
I installed the HP Envy 7640 Printer driver but now it's only printing colored prints. I cannot afford colored prints. I usually print Black & White prints unless it's absolutely necessary. Plus my only print option for standard 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper is some card board paper, so it's not even printing on both sides even though I chose the option to print double-sided. It's only printing on 1 side. Any ideas???
Welcome to HP support community.
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
Download and install printer full feature driver
Click here to download the printer driver.
Let me know how it goes.

The solution in this archived post solved my issue. The update seemed to run forever, so I unplugged the printer power (or usb, or both? I can't remember, sorry) while it was still running the update and plugged it back in. It then printed a device update report, and seemed to hang again. I unplugged the printer again, and when I plugged it back in, the update software thought there had been a communication issue and wanted to try again. I said no, since the printer now seems to be working again. I'll update this post if I have any more problems.
Where can I download a postscript driver that will work with Win 7 x64 and my HP 5si?
The most recent drivers available via HP downloads are not compatible with Windows 7 x64. I am using the printer in PCL mode but really need to use the postscript mode installed when I bought the computer half a lifetime ago. The printer is a workhorse that runs flawlessly and I can't afford to replace it.

Cindy

I am able to print my "Printer Status Report" however it doesn't contain the "Printer Claim Code" necessary to add this device to my account. Can anyone HELP me, please?
Let's start with a printer reset
- Turn on the printer.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.
- Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
- Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
- Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.
- If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
Also try updating the Printer Firmware. You can refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

If the printer is on the network, the answer is likely Yes.
I do not recommend that you enable and use a printer password.
Printer Password is a great option unless you lose the password or if something unexpected happens and the printer locks up.
Important
Should the printer become locked for any reason, we (our community) is prohibited from providing the means to unlock the printer.
Nice feature - and it could come back to bite you later.
Instead, consider
If you wish to proceed:
Open your favorite browser> type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings> Security> Administrator Settings
Enable (Check) All (standard, though you can decide to do otherwise)
Then (at least until you are REAL sure about the setup)
Disable (uncheck) Control Panel Lock
Next...
Tab Settings> Security> Security Password (wording may vary)
Set a password for the printer
Do NOT lose the password.

So I have an HP envy 5000 and an HP envy 13 laptop, both brand new. I have printed once with no problems, but I’ve updated my Windows 10 and it now refuses to print. When i check the status of the printer, it says either offline or error. I have tried restarting both and checking for updates on my laptop, but nothing has worked. Please help! I’m in college and I need to print stuff for class.
Also, they are both connected to the same wifi. When the laptop says my printer is offline, my printer shows that it has very good connection.
How do you turn off the Ipv60 thing?
