Welcome to HP support community.

 

Perform root level uninstalltion to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers. 
  • Restart the PC again.

Download and install printer full feature driver

Click here to download the driver.

just had this same issue the ctridge box says it is compatable (61) i live and bought mine in australia this needs to be fixed it just stupid and a waste of my time

You can download the firmware from this link:- Click here

You can also update the printer firmware from printer display.

HP Office Jet 4650 validation

I keep getting a "printer not validate" when I try to print. It will copy and scan just fine but it's not printing from computer. Had this for over a year and never had a problem. What can I do?

Hello,

I bought a HP Laserjet  M1136MFP and when im trying to install the device driver software it struck and showing " New device is now connected" for long time. I tried unplug printer , rebooting the system and printer, but no use. Can you please me out in this issue.

So in this case the support is only by phone and other users who has the same problem have to call support as well. This is not friendly and not smart at all.

Photosmart 8250 driver for Windows 10

I am trying to download a driver for Windows 10 64bit for my Photosmart 8250 printer. I can not find any - on the Windows 10 printer page it just says no driver. My daughter also runs Windows 10 on her lap top but downloaded a driver automatically for the same printer.

Computer is a LenovonIdealpad 320S. 

Please help me!

Reset EWS password for HP Deskjet 2620

Hello,

 

I set up an EWS administrator password long time ago and now I can't access the EWS administrative panel since I forgot the password. Is there a way to fully reset the printer to factory settings? Or reset the EWS administrator password?

 

I have been searching the forums to no avail.

Thank you so much for your help. Your suggestion of unplugging my printer while it's still on and holding the power button for 15 seconds worked. My printer is working fine now.

I’m having exactly the same problem both when I try to print from my PC and from my iPad. I’ve tried several different types of paper. The problem didn’t exist when I first bought the printer but has developed if the last few months.

Hello,

 

I already prchased a DJ HP 2632 and need to use it on Windows XP, 

As there's NO CD for drivers in the box so I just founded driver for XP on internet, printer connects and works without any problem, main problem is with Scanner that not works at all! I installed HP Doctor and it says the problem is driver but I installed everything correctly! Scanner only works through online Scanner option and not with HP Scan software, Error is "Scanner Unreachable"!

How you say you still support Windows XP while there's NO driver for XP even on your website!?

This is not first time that I used HP products with XP but this Scanner started some problem this time, 

Please provide an solution and righ driver link if exist, I need to use my printer on Windows XP.

Note: On HP android app printer and scanner working well without any problem, the problem is just with XP!

I waiting for you support as soon as possible please,

Hi ShlomiL.  Thanks very much for the link.  I have downloaded it and will see what I can extract.  I hope everything works as this is one of, if not the actual. fasted Officjet Printers  I have ever seen.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

To better assist you - Are you able to make a color copy? If yes, try these steps -

 

Step 1 HP Print and Scan Doctor -

Click on this link to download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor  

 

Step 2 Re-install the printer drivers -

1) In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program". 
2) Look for HP Printer software. 
3) Right-click to uninstall. 
4) In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”. 
5) In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”. 
6) Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.  
7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”). 
8) Click on the "Drivers" tab. 
9) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom. 
10) Select Ok. 
11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows. 
12) Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed. 
13) Restart the computer. 
14) Download and install the software and drivers from here.
15)Click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

it is connected to a MAC computer

Should be a factory reset option on the control panel. Check for setup or service options.
