Greetings

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are able to print from your mobile devices but not on your computer running on Windows 10, is that right?

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Are you using a dual band router?

Note: HP Printers do not work or connect to 5Ghz networks. If you are using a dual band router, please give different names to 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz networks and connect the printer to the 2.4Ghz network.

Request you follow the procedure mentioned below to uninstall the printer software and settings and install it back to resolve the issue you are facing.

Make sure all the Windows updates are installed on your computer.

Uninstall the printer from "programs and features" which can be accessed by doing a right-click on the Windows button (Please have the printer Off and disconnected during uninstallation.)

Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it. (Right click on the Windows button to access device manager)

Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.

Click on print server properties.

You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.

Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.

Restart the PC.

Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,

Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.

It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files, ignore them).

If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.

Restart the PC again.

Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.

Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.

Let me know if this helped.

Hello and thanks for your help,

Unfortunately, after I have followed your advise and downloaded from the links, the first gives the same result as I had before. The soft B109a unpacks, installes and again once at the agreement that I need to clicks the soft closes?

In the meantime preparing the second link of your mail, I see the printer in the Windows set-up but the soft is not installed. Once I connect the printer to the computer (2nd step on the HP page) I get a "blue screen of dead" with the Netio.sys mistake and I have at this stage not done any further installation through the second link after unplugging the printer again. When unplugged, no blue screen anymore and laptop runs normally again?

If you have additional advise, I look forward to read you as I will retry Monday morning.

I appreciate your news.

Thanks.

Hi ,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are getting '0x' error message on your HP DeskJet Printer. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Did you make any changes on the printer before the issue started?

Are you using genuine HP ink cartridge or refilled ink cartridges?

Have you tried to clean the ink cartridges or rollers?

Are you able to move the carriage freely?

In the meantime, let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

Remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a hard reset on the printer.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test page and check if it works.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to follow the steps suggested in the support document for - HP Printers - Resolving Printhead Problems and Ink System Failure

If you have followed the steps suggested and still having the issue, I would personally suggest this could be a printer hardware. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for available service related options. If your product is out of warranty, please don't forget to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.

Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone numberCase number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.

Keep me posted for any other assistance,

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.

  • If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.
  • Ignore the Regedit option if it cannot be done.

Hi MKazi,

Thanks for your message. I followed your steps to perform the NVRAM reset on the printer.

Permanent Storage Init displayed on the screen, then changed to "Initialising".

Then after 4 hours, it still said "Initialising".

Now have turned off & on again. Now just get a white screen which doesn't change - HP logo doesn't appear.

I have only had this printer (MFP M477) for 6 weeks!

Re: Wireless Printer not Syncing with iMac

Thanks for your response, but that did not help. We thought it was the printer, so we went out today and purchased a new HP OfficeJet printer, but this time a #4655.

We followed the instructions to set up the wireless printer. The printer will print from our iMac and states that it is connected to our wifi network. But we are still having the same issue: the printer will not print from our iPhone or iPads. We used to have no problem with this. Now this new printer (and the old printer) aren't picked up by our phones/pads wirelessly. This is so confusing and frustrating. We have only 1 wireless network in the house and the printer, iMac, and phones/pads are all on the same network. Why then, can't we print from our phones/pads?

Won't print. Upper right screen says printer (network) offline

I’ve unplugged and plugged back in more than once.  When I select to print I have a message in the top right screen stating my printer (network) is offline.  What do I do? Following your instructions the printer now does have the blue light on constantly so the message it’s offline confuses. Going through the motions to set it up (again) the HP says on the front it is already set up, do I want to do it again?   I select “No” because the blue light is on constantly.  How do I proceed so the printer will print, ostensibly being connected yet messaging it isn’t; says on the laptop it’s offline.  THX.

Hello,

Thankd for your response.

I have run the "HP Print and Scan Doctor" software, can't recall what it said as I'm at work at the momement but it did not fix the issue.  I will try again at home and record what it says.

All Windows updates are current/latest versions.

Not sure the relevance of "Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer." as I'm using wifi to connect the printer.

Will post more info from home once I have run the "HP Print and Scan Doctor"

Thanks

Hello, im getting very frustrated with my wireless printer, HP DJ3630 series.

First installed it about a year and a half ago worked fine using wireless connection. Then for some reason it woud not connect and we got the message "driver not available" or printer off line.

We connected via USB for a while but last week I played around with it downloading driver afrer driver deleting everything and starting a new install!

All of a sudden it connected properly and worked after doing the same process time after time, however my wife unplugged the printer and I now cant get it to connect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is connected to the wifi in the house as the HP smart app for the laptop says it is conected, gives me ink status etc but when I got to "printers and faxes" it says either printer off line or, as it currently states, priver unavailable!

I have downloaded ths driver more time than I care to remember (in the 100s i rekon) says its installed but the bloody printer will not work!!!

By the way it will print from my phone, tablet and my wifes phone via the app!!
