Can you help? I think about returning the Printer.

Usually Windows built-in drivers coming from Microsoft Update are outdated and deprecated, hence's a good reason to download and install the most recent basic driver from HP's official website.
I have been trying repeatedly, more than 20 times, with different browsers and different PCs, to download the Windows 10 driver for the HP Officejet 2620 from the HP website. The file name is OJ2620_188.exe. Each and every time, the download fails. How can I get the driver? Thank you.
Why can't I get the software/drivers that came with my printer to install? I'm using Windows 10 64-bit Creators Update, and the setup goes through all the steps, except it gets stuck at "Configuring Product...". A few minutes later, I get an error message with the window title saying "E:\hpzsetup.exe -wstub 1050184" and error message "Fatal error during installation". I have plenty of disk space and RAM left, so it can't be that. Also, I turned off Windows Defender to prevent antivirus issues. How do I get it to work? I tried googling the error (including windows title), but I couldn't find any answers. I have HughesNet Gen5 (50 GB plan), and I connect to the modem/router using wireless, if you need info on that.
What is interesting is that people seem to be having a problem once they remove the original cartridges and replace them with new ones. These printers are only lasting 12 to 24 months. I wonder if we can lodge a consumer complaint with some agency because there are so many of us who had exactly the same problem with theses printers. In my case, I have had two printers back-to-back with bad printheads. I had to trash both. NEVER buying another HP printer Ever again!!!

Impossible to action the menu, and do anything.
Welcome to HP Support Forum. I hope you're well
I read about the printer wireless issue that you are facing and wanted to stop in to share my suggestions with you
To connect your printer to the wireless network, use a temporary USB connection. Do not connect the USB cable until the installation program prompts you. Here are the steps:
When prompted, select the Connect through a wireless network option.
When prompted, connect the USB cable to the computer.
When the installation is complete, print a configuration report to make sure the printer has an SSID name.
Make sure the Ready light is on and that the printer is idle and silent.
Press and hold the Cancel button , and release it when the Ready light
begins blinking.
The Configuration report prints.
When the Configuration Report prints, disconnect the USB cable from the printer.
Your printer is now set up to use over a wireless network connection.
Once the printer is connected to the wireless network, you can print from your iPhone as well
Install the HP Smart app (Previously HP AiO Remote app) to print from your iOS device. Go to Apple store Storenstall the HP Smart app on your phone.
I found a wonderful document which will give you instructions on how to use this app. Please go through the steps here: http://hp.care/2sl1E5V
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Tried to download most recent update, but web did not recognize, said no results. Copied link from another user on this discussion board. His post was from 2012 however.
Went different route to get list of available updates, but no go.
Please help......
The printer is connected via USB
No error messages come up because the file is put in the print queue and after a littl while disappears as though it had been printed. I believe the software is mixed up with the previous c309g software which only partly uninstalled.

Have exactly the same issue. Reset Windows 10 as Laptop getting slow, install everything but 4500 drivers simply refuse to install correctly, either USB or Wireless. Tries verious 'support' solutions and still no luck. Getting fed up with this now.
All previously working on Laptop but having reset Windows I can no longer install the 4500 printer drivers, USB or Wireless. Tried various HP support software, including HPPSdr.exe but install s/w doesnt recognise when the USB cable is plugged in, or on Wireless, it finds the Printer but just cycles for ages then says it can't install the driver. The printer works finr when printing from iPhone. Getting fed up with this now. Have also disabled Windows Firewall and AVG antivirus to no avail.
Have also done this, but still no good when re-installing driver.
Run HP Support Assistant to make sure all the drivers are updated. Click here for assistance in using HPSA.
Request you uninstall the printer software and settings from your computer by following the procedure mentioned below.
Restart your computer after uninstall and clearing the temp files.
Download and install the latest printer software from www.hp.com/drivers
When I try to run Print and Scan Doctor it extracts the files and then I get the following error message: HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0 has stopped working. The detaled info is:

Hey there!
I understand you have issues powering on your printer.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps before reaching out to us.
Test the printer Power button
Plug the printer into a working wall outlet, and then test the Power button on the printer.
1.Make sure the power cord is connected to the rear of the printer and is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
2.Press and release the Power button to start a Power On/Off cycle. Do not hold the button down.
note:
If you press and hold the Power button too long, the printer might turn on and then off without restarting. If this happens, press and quickly release the Power button again.
3.If the printer does not turn on, wait 10 seconds, and then press the Power button again.
Refer this article to further troubleshoot no power issues with your printer.
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps, it is a hardware issue with your printer.
