I had to build a new printserver because we're changing our domain.
On this new printserver, I made a queue for a HP Laserjet 4015N.
As I compared the settings of the old queue and the new queue, I saw that on the new queue, duplex-printing is enabled, even though the printer can't print on both sites without human interference. So I tried to disable it, but everytime I disable it and click on Apply and close the Properties-window, it switches back to 'Installed'.
The driver we use now is HP Universal Printing PS (v6.3.0), but on the old printserver we used v5.7.0.
Automatic Configuration is off by the way.

When I upgraded Windows 10 my computer crashed. I had to download and reinstall the driver for my printer. Originally I had a desktop shortcut icon for scanning so I could go directly to scan but the shortcut icon has not reapeared when I installed the new programme. How can I get the icon back?
After upgrading to Windows 10.
When I try to print I receive an error message "You do not have permission to edit the settings for this printer. Contact System Administrator if settings are to be changed".
I have install the lates printerdriver from HP support center.
The printer's scan function is working properly.
I'm a single user on my PC and noted as administrator under Settings / Accounts.
My PC is branded HP Compaq.
I am trying to setup two of my works new HP printers on my mac. Both are connected to our network and the easy start software detects them both. However when i click either and try to install the easy start software says it cannot find a driver

Currently have a Windows 2012 Server for file/print. Windows 7 64bit clients. HP laserjet 602, 604, 606 printers. What is the most stable/compatible drivers to set for 2012 Server, Windows 7 clients? V3, V4, PCL5, PCL6, Universal. And now there is a new "Microsoft enhanced point and print compatible" driver that popped up on my clients.
Hello. I am working in InDesign on my mac, trying to print addresses on A7 sized envelopes. There is no A7 option in my print dialogue box, and no way to create the custom A7 page size. Do I need another driver or something? Not sure how this works.

May I know how are you trying to configure the printer on your computer? USB or wireless.
May I know the procedure followed by you to uninstall the printer on your computer?
Are you able to make a copy on your printer? (This would let us know if the printer is working fine as standalone.)
Recommend you to run HP Print and Scan doctor while the printer is connected to your computer using a USB cable. Click here to know more.
Once the printer starts to work with USB connection, refer to this HP Article for assistance in converting the USB connection to wireless.

I understand that you are facing an issue where you are unable to access HP Solution Center on your computer.

If you could let me know which feature of Solution Center you are looking to use, I will be glad to assist you.
Recommend you do a clean uninstall of the printer software on your computer by following the procedure mentioned below and install the latest full feature software for your printer by downloading it from www.hp.com/drivers
Uninstall the printer from "programs and features" which can be accessed by doing a right-click on the Windows button (Please have the printer Off and disconnected during uninstallation.)
Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it. (Right click on the Windows button to access device manager)
Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.
Click on print server properties.
You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.
Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.
Restart the PC.
Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,
Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.
It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files, ignore them).
If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.
Restart the PC again.
Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.
Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.
