Hello again. I am going to get to know you better then my wife pretty soon if we keep this up. I have installed the software. Just one problem. 1st....everything is fine except this: "The HP Imaging Device was not found. Try the following steps. After each step try scaning again.Turn off and unplug the device, wait 60 seconds, and plug in and turn on the device. Make sure that the device's power cord and cable are properly attached, plugged in, and the device is on. Reboot the computer. Uninstall the device. reinstall the HP Photosmart software that came with the device. (extended error information): 8, [(1,0 -2147024770)]. Well, I followed the steps and that's it. I am done with with HP and thier software. The unit is fine but the software is crap and I am not happy. Once I followed the steps and rebooted the computer, I still have no scan and now the Solution Center is missing again along with the drivers. I really appreciate your attempt to help but HP has lost me as a customer and that's a shame because I have always had great respect for HP. I have more than one HP product in my home ,and am afraid to get another one. Sorry this cannot get resolved for I have had a HP tech person do all this previously with the same results. I will give you Kudos for your attempt to help. You deserve it.
Unfortunately I am not ready to do this over again for the....oh, what, about the 22nd time.
