Having the same issue. Just purchased the printer as a replacement to an old Epson.
Running Windows 7 64-bit, Service Pack 1.
Running an Wireless network.
Downloaded the latest file "LJ-Pro-200-color-MFP-M276-full-solution-12201.exe"
Same simptoms - at 80% this message comes up and nothing can be done.
Already installed the latest firmware. "M276_colorMFP_Series_FW_Update-20131216.exe"
Changed the Smart Install settings to OFF.
Tried only drivers "LJ-Pro-200-color-MFP-M276-driver-installer-12201.exe"
Same result.
Tried turn-off antivirus ESET NOD32 and Windows Firewall.
Checked the PrinterSpool service - it is ON.
Finally added the printer through windows devices. Can print - love the quality.
But can't use full functionality of the print/scan.
Any other suggestions? I don't want to return it - looks like a good machine.
But I'm running out of options.
