Re: Window 7 - Designjet 430, Driver

Hi: K, asking this because I don't do this too often, so, I forget what's involved.  I've downloaded the Vista driver, now, I've downloaded the 32 Bit, even though my computer is a 64 Bit but, I'm sure the plotter is a 32 Bit or maybe that doesn't matter, for the plotter that is.  If so, then I should go back and download the 64 Bit ?  Next thing, the Driver file is a Zip'd file.  When unpacking the file, all the files end with a '.ex_' dash for the file types, does this matter ?  Now, I just go to the Control Panel and Add New Printer ?

I should have added, I'm running Win 8.1.  Also, there doesn't seem to be an ' .inf ' file and it's lokking for a ' .hnf ' file, neither of which are in the downloaded and unziped files.  I'm running AutoCAD 2013 and it has a built-in driver, though it tells you to use the 'have disc' option.   I've renamed all the files, per the DSGJ400 Setup Information file and again, in there, as well, no mention of a .inf or .hnf file ?
