Still no luck. I was redirected to your support page for the specific device by Microsoft. I'm wondering if the USB cable is still at fault seeing as it says it should install drivers automatically when I attach it. I'll try getting a new cord and cross my fingers. However at the moment it's stopped printing as well because I need to realign the cartridges, but when the alignment paper is put in the scanning area it's saying it "can't be found". Do you think the scanner itself is just plain old dead? I might just buy a new printer considering the age of this one anyway!
