yes I do - so i'm unsure what exactly was uninstalled - the message was unclear about that.
From the desktop, do you see the Digital Imaging Monitor in your system tray by your clock?
yes I do - ehh I did actually, i switched it off manually because it keeps giving failure messages regularly that it cannot connect to the device (eventough the device is perfectly reachable on it's IP adress and printing works)
I am in the process of installing your exact model of printer because I want to try to repair the Digital Imaging Monitor from the temp folder but I want to be able to tell you where to find it. I have gone back through the previous conversations and cannot find which brand of PC you have. Is this a Windows 8 PC made by HP?
nope, it's a samsung NP370R5E-A03 with OEM installed windows 8 64 bit - if it would have been a HP I would not have dared to vigerously delete all HP entries from the registry to clean up...
