I'm running OS 10.7.5 on a MacBook Air.

I've tried the recommendations provided by the HP Expert in this thread. I've uninstalled all HP software. I've downloaded the software from the Apple link that was provided. The software appears to install successfully, but when I go to System Preferences to add the printer, after "searching for the software," the same error message appears that says the software is unavailable and I am to contact the manufacturer. What am I doing wrong?
