HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 all in printer seems installed, but I cannot print.
I followed the Troubleshoot HP Installation Failure - Network and still the problem is unresolved. Im trying to connect my printer through ethernet to my router. Both my PC and printer are connected to the same router.
I'm running a home build (mostly Corsair) and Windows 7 64 bit.
The point that it initially hangs is when the installation software asks for the printer's IP address.
I entered the router IP address and that was rejected.
I entered the URL for embedded web server from the HP Network Configuration page and that is also rejected (telling me it is a temporary address)
Microsoft security essentials lists no errors but I disabled it anyway and no resolution.
I disabled Windows Firewall and no resolution.
I could use some help here,... please?
