Hey Mikkel,

I see you are trying to install a Deskjet F2420 on a Windows 8 machine.  Instead of using the HP Printer Install Wizard, have you tried using the Full Feature Software and Drivers download from the HP website?  I will provide a link below for convenience to this page.

Do you have any better luck with the actual product software directly than with the Install Wizard?
