Thank you very much for sharing that image.  It really helps to know that you should be able to do the reset.  It looks like a hardware problem and a reset can only do so much.  After examining what you see on the screen of the printer, a reset will be a risky step, so please be aware of that going forward.

An example of what I think could happen is, let's say you do the reset, but the screen comes back worse than before and then you will not be able to use the Wireless Setup Wizard to get the printer connected to the router because you won't see your options.  I don't think anything else could happen but just be aware that if you do proceed and, in the event, the printer is in worse condition than before, I nor HP would be responsible for that kind of damage because you did it on your own accord and was provided the most thorough warning I have ever given anyone (this is in reference to previous comments on this thread on how and why it is private). I'm happy to inform you of that, confident the reset could help more than hurt, and will gladly send that information to you via private message here on the forums. :)
