Sorry about my last question, which was the result of my own doing. Instead of waiting to get the ordered ink, I attempted to force a nearly empty cartridge to do one more print job and that gave me trouble. With a full cartridge I had to do the alignment only once more and the scan button did the job. Now I have one liter of ink. I hope the printer lasts as long as that without any further troubles.
