Happy printing........ I now do have a different, but a follow up problem.
I attempted to print a picture in best quality on inkjet paper using the 990c options page. It had worked a few times. Then instead of printing the picture, the F4580 wasted my inkjet paper for an alignment page, telling me to scan this page for best quality. But to scan this page, I have to first take the printer off the electricity and move it to the laptop.
Would the scan button on the F4580 work for this purpose without being able to scan from the computer?
If I scan the alignment page on the laptop, where is the result stored? In ram in the printer needing uninterrupted electricity, in some firmware or flash memory in the printer or on the laptop?
Is there any way to impede the printing of this alignment page?
