HP Update is still not listed under All Programs/HP even after reinstalling the driver. I listed the other problems under HP Support Forums/ Printing Issues and Troubleshooting: Print selection has blank lines; sometimes wants to save before print; print range sometimes only All; print b&w sometimes does color. Dell XPS 400, Win 7. Updated HP driver 2009-10-21 ver 13.1.0 before problems started.
I reposted May 9 but I can't find it. I'll try again: (1) Printing a "selection" leaves blank horizontal lines, (2) sometimes it prints color when I've selected black and white, and vice versa, (3) Page Range sometimes has only "All" to select, (4) No HP Update in All Programs. (I solved the save before print problem.) I'm considering reinstalling the original driver from 2006; it didn't have these problems.
