I'm running an HP Photosmart C4580, that I have had for a few years. I recently changed laptop, and am now running Windows 8 64-bit. I have downloaded the latest drivers, but have an ongoing print problem. Essentially, the printer will print maybe 1,2 or 3 pages of a document, but then stop. it generally stops half way down a page. Windows gives an error message that simply states there is an error, but doesn't give any error code or indication of what the error may be.
i have today deleted all HP products from my laptop, and reinstalled from the HP website, but the problem persists. If I were to print a document on page at a time, then i'm sure it would work, but as I have a hundred or so documents to print (some up to 30 pages long), this would be impractical, and frankly, unacceptable.
The laptop is an Advent Monza T200....cheap I know, but it's a I could afford when the last one died at short notice!
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
