Follow these steps to make sure that your printer driver recognizes the duplexer.
Step one: Add the Duplex Unit to your printer settings

), and then click Devices and printers . - Right-click the printer icon (Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view. ) for your product, click Printer Properties , and then click the product.The Printer Properties window opens. - Click the Device Settings tab.
- If necessary, click the plus sign (+ ) next to Installable Options to expand the list.
- Click Duplex Unit , and then click Installed .
- Click Apply , and then click OK .
Step two: Set the Two-sided printing preference
- On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon (Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view. ), and then click Devices and printers . - Right-click the printer icon (Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view. ) for your product, click Printing Preferences , and then click the product.The Printing Preferences window opens. - Click the Printing Shortcuts tab.
- In the options area, select Automatic from the Print On Both Sides drop-down list.
- NOTE: If you only want to print on one side, then you must leave this set to Off.
- Click OK to save your settings.
