When I try to scan, the printer screen says that the connection is not responding. When I go to Scan Doctor, it says that everyting is working, and I can do a test scan all right. When I try to scan again, the printer screen says the same thing as the first time. This time, however, when I go to Scan Doctor, I get an error message: "Another instance of this application is already running." I tried turning off the printer, and then turning it back on, but it still won't scan. ( I had no trouble like this until I "upgraded" to Windows 8.1.)
Should I uninstall and reinstall with the "latest software" , "troubleshoot firewalls," or what? Thanks.
