There are 5 computers in my house and they all see and can print to the printer without issue. However when I connect my HP Elitbook 8460p to the network, within about 10 minutes the Printer goes into a error state. Lights flashing and error message on the screen. I turn the laptop off, and reset the printer and it will be fine for days. Sadly, I just bought this printer to replace an HP Photosmart 603 (?306) series printer. And guess what, it was doing the same thing, except I assumed it was the printer. When the new one started doing it, I started trouble shooting in a different way, paying attention to "outside" influences. That is when I noticed that both printers only do this when the 8460p is on the network. This Laptop is running windows 7SP1.
