Scanner, quit working , short time later printer quit. Tried to reinstall from disk and HP website numerous times. Finally installed as IEEE 1284.4 compatible printer but won't show up in Devices and printers list. Found this listing in device manager, Also found Photosmart C4780 listed under other devices . Under this listing I selected update drivers from disk and it said it successfully updated. It had me do a test print and it worked fine, did a test scan and it worked also but the printer does not show up in the Devices and Printers list so when I tried to print a document It says I have no printer installed.
