Almost similar type of problem faced. First, in spite of having proper ink levels, documents would not print. The, test page didn't print. Uninstalled and the re-installed the printer software from the net as the CD did not have driver for windows7. Computer crashed with a blue screen and then kept re-booting. Safe mode was not coming on the screen. Ultimately, switched off the printer, uninstalled all HP programmes and set up an Epson-CHANGED THE PRINTER COMPANY ALLTOGETHER.
