In November 2012, I purchased a H.P. OfficeJet 4500 G510g-m. Up until last month, I was able to print via my P.C.
I had to replace the black cartride recently and that's when my problems began. First a notice appeared in the window
of the printer which said, "Scanner Failure. Unable to scan, copy, or send a fax. I performed all of the trouble-shooting
instructions including de-installing and re-installing the start-up C.D. I still got the same feed back. Now, I don't (or can't)
even have connection to the P.C. I've tried a new USB cable which brought nothing.
Needless to say, my patience are at an end. It appears that H.P. doesn't care to know that their customers are having problems. Up until now, I have been a faithful customer of H.P. (I have a H.P. Desktop, Notebook and two all-in-one
printers.
I have seen two T.V. programs recently which informed the public that electric/electronic manufacturers build-in an anticipated lifetime of their products. In my case, this appears to be true.
Please, help me.
