I downloaded the driver and software for my Macbook Pro running 10.7 from the HP support site and when I try to install it, it shows as being corrupted. Anyone know where else I can get it? Or how to have HP put a newer version out there?
Name of the file as downloaded from HP support site: "Photosmart-6510-series_v12.14.0.dmg"
Message prompt: "The following disk image couldn't be opened: (file name); Reason: Image data corrupted."
FYI, I uninstalled the original software and driver (hoping to download and reinstall it) in an effort to get the printer to print black again, which mysteriously quit printing after the warranty expired...
(Yes, I rebooted everything, cleaned printer heads via software, etc. Still No Joy printing black. I may try physically scrubbing the printer head if reinstalling the software doesn't work.)
Any help in getting black to print again would be appreciated, too!
Thanks!
