My ink alert notified me that I needed a new black ink cartridge, which I installed. Immediately after I installed it, it said I needed magenta, which had shown as full when I received the alert on the black ink. I replaced the magenta catridge.
Printer would not print in black and colors were spotty. HP Print and Scan Doctor said there was a problem with printer drivers. Went to HP site and followed prompts to uninstall and then reinstall software and print drivers. Went through whole process but when I went to print, the black would not print at all. Ran diagnostics again through HP Print and Scan Doctor and was again told that it was a driver problem and that I needed to uninstall/reinstall software and drivers. Went through process all over again, printer still not printing. Also, it is telling me that magenta needs to be replaced even though there is a brand new cartridge in the printer.
