Hi Sloughhouse,

 

You are certainly in the right place, and I promise to be kind! :)

 

Select a method to align the printhead, and then follow the instructions.
 
Method one: Align the printhead from the control panel
  1. Load plain white paper into the input tray.
  2. Press and hold the Power button, and then press the Resume button (Image may be NSFW.

     ) three times.
  3. Release the Power button. The printer begins the alignment process. When the printer completes the alignment process, it prints an alignment page.
 Method two: Align the printhead from the HP software > Use the following link for instructions. Look for 'Solution four: Step two: Align the printhead', click on 'Align the printhead from the HP Software'
 
 

If this does not resolve the issue, please post back to tell me what program you are printing from and if the issue occurs when you print from multiple programs. Thanks.

 

I checked the printer specifications and found the margin limitations, please verify that you are within the specified limitations.
