Thanks for hanging in there, reset assure I am still here to help.
At this point I suggesting utilizing the Microsoft Fix it utility. It automatically repair issues that block program installation or removal because of corrupted registry keys.
- Corrupted registry keys on 64-bit operating systems
- Corrupted registry keys that control the update data
- Problems that prevent new programs from being installed
- Problems that prevent existing programs from being completely uninstalled or updated
- Problems that block you from uninstalling a program through the Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features) item in Control Panel
Click here to download and run the Microsoft Fix it.
Once this has been done, restart the computer, and try to run the HP installer again. Simply open the temp folder, locate the 7z folder, scroll all the way tot he bottom, and double click on the setup file.

Additional note: If the issue persists, please post back with the error code stored in the Event Viewer. Most install errors are stored in the Windows Event Viewer, identifying the error ensures that you get the best troubleshooting steps for your error. Follow the instructions below to find the error code.
- From the Start screen, type Event Viewer
- In the Event Viewer frame (on the left), click Windows logs
- Under Windows logs , click Application . The Event Viewer results display in the middle pane
- In the middle frame in the Source column, find the most recent Image may be NSFW.

- In the General tab , look for a numbered code. This is the specific error message that you need to troubleshoot
