Run all the Windows updates first.
I would do a level 3 uninstall of the printer software and then reinstall the newest software again.
Follow these steps to do the level 3 uninstall:
Go to the tiles screen, (start up screen)
start typing %temp%, open the folder starting with 7z, (Example: 7zS2356) util, ccc, uninstall_L3. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer.
Temporarily turn off any Antivirus Software.
Then run the download software again.
Test the printer.
Turn the Antivirus Software back on again.
