Ok if the USB cable is plugged in this could be causing issues. Assuming it is connected, let's unplug and take a look at the Device manager. The hpzpnp.ice_suffix indicates a plug and play 'pnp'.
Follow these steps and let me know what happens.
- Click on Start
- Right click on Computer
- Select Manage
- On the left panel, click on Device Manager
- Click on View at the top and select Show hidden devices
- Look in the list for Other devices
- If you see the printer here, right click and select uninstall
- Look in the list and click on the arrow next to Printers
- If you see the printer here, right click and select uninstall
- Delete the %temp% folder again
- Restart the computer
- Run the HP Printer Install Wizard
- Do Not plug the USB cable in until the software says so.
I will watch for the results. :)
