Thank you for providing that information.
Since the printer won't print the self test we will have to fix this first before it will actually install the software since the printer would be in a error state.
If this is a new printer please follow the steps in this document to make sure the packing material is all removed from inside the printer and any orange on the toner.
Toner Light Blinks or 'Install Black Cartridge' Message Displays on the Control Panel. Disregard the title.
Try the self test again from the printer.
- On the printer control panel, press the Setup

button. - Use the arrow buttons to select the Reports menu, and then press the OK button.
- Use the arrow buttons to select the Menu structure option, and then press the OK button.

Is there any error messages on the display?
Are there any lights flashing on the printer?
Did the self test print?
