The C++ runtime error is usually caused due to files crashing with one another. In this case, it doesn't all depend on the
driver so I'll need you to go to the link below, select the OS and correct bit version driver and download.

Try running the driver and let me know the exact error message when you see one.
If you updated your windows from vista to 7 without formatting your PC, then I suggest you also install the patch
provided in the link first and then try to install the driver. Let me know how this goes. :)
