I recently hooked up a LaserJet Pro200 M251nw wirelessly to my network. In the process I ran the install CD on my PC. Now I see the process "HPLaserJetService, exe" running every 5 or 6 seconds peaking at 19 to 22% CPU utilization. I've turned off the Alerts and exited the icon on the task bar (Windows XP) but it soes not stop. I could use those CPU cycles for something productive. I don't see what value I'm getting from HPLaserJetService, exe.
Can anybody tell me what it does and why I need it?? If I don't need it, how can I get rid of it??
