Deskjet F4500 and Surface RT

hi,

above printer model seems to no be compatible with Windows 8.1 Surface RT (same issue with Windows 8) because driver results as not properl installed (warnin icon).

I already tried removing and reinstalling the device without success both using USB cable and with wireless connection.

Fyi I'm able to print, but device is not recognized as scanner.

In fact, if I download and install HP apps from store, they are not able to see Deskjet F4500 as valid device ready on my Surface.

any idea to bypass it ?
