I have recently bought a new PC which runs windows 8, and am trying to use my existing printer/ scanner. The printer works fine, but the scanner control doesn't appear in the software, if I press the "Scan" button on the machine says it's scanning but eventually comes up with a "Time Out Activate Scan to Computer again".
If I go into the Control Panel I can right click on unit, which lets me select "scan" and this works.
Can anyone tell me how to get full functionality back please?
