Ringtone for fax/phone

Hello,

I have an M1212NF MFP and I have a question regarding the fax/phone lines.

I have a fax line going in the device and a line out to a physical phone.

When i tested with a regular phone call, I found that the device is the one ringing and not my phone (which makes sense to me) however; Is there a capability where I could have the actual phone ring when I receive regular phone calls instead of the printer ringing?

Another question, if the device is in low power mode or turned off, will I still receive phone calls or I won't be able to because of how I have it set up?
