Hello hoho83,

 

I am sorry to hear that you are having scanning issues with your Officejet 6600. I would like to help by making a few suggestions for you.

 

  1. First of all, make a copy. If the copy is successful, proceed to the next steps. If the copy fails, the scanner may have failed.
  2. Next, try running the Print and Scan Doctor for Windows which will search for printing, scanning and driver issues and attempt to correct them or will show you where the issue is.
  3. If the Print and Scan Doctor states that the full software is not complete, which it needs to be for the scanning functionality, please download and install the full software here (choose your OS and click "next" before you download).
  4. Also, try scanning through the printer software to see if this works. You can also try scanning by using Paint.
