Printer: HP Photosmart D110a All-In-One
Operating System: Windows 7 (64-bit)
Computer: Macbook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010)
Downloaded the basic driver, full software, and install wizard. I tried all three seperately, and in every case the installation stopped with two errors when checking system requirements:
USB Drivers
"This computer does not have the necessary USB software support to allow completion of a USB installation. The installation cannot continue unti"l this is resolved.
Required Action: Click Cancel to exit this software installation. In order to install this device as a USB device, please refer to your computer documentation or USB add-in card documentation for more information about USB drivers."
USB Hardware

If you are sure your computer has the physical USB connectors, refer to your computer documentation about how to enable USB in the BIOS."
I use the USB ports in my laptop every day, and they work perfectly. I also went into the device manager and looked for updates to the USB drivers, and Windows confirmed my USB drivers were up to date. I haven't gone into the BIOS to make sure the USB ports are enabled because they work already - no point fiddling with the BIOS if you don't have to. Plus, this is a wireless printer, i.e. no USB cable required. Why is a USB port a system requirement in the first place?
Any solution? I'd love to be able to use my printer within Windows.
