You wrote "Generally the print preview function is related to the program that you're using". well, that's not true. If I print a Word doc (from our Word 2003) or an Excel xls (from our Excel 2003) to the new 8600, there is NO option to see a print preview and OK it before actually printing.
If I do exactly the same thing to our 8500 at home, there IS a HP print preview option that lets us see the doc first. It's in the HP print window for the 8500. It works in the 8500 for ANYTHING we send to the 8500, no matter what the program source. If I send from Irfanview or from MS Photo Manager or from Word 2003 or from any web browser or from any application of any kind that has a print function, the 8500 has a print preview option that lets us see first.
Where and how do I get this for the 8600?
If you reply that it's on the full CD that comes with the 8600, do you know that yourself 100% because that's what you have done personally? I really don't want to run that CD full of HP junkware unless it will actually, really, no-mistakes give me the HP print preview option. Please advise.
