Like a lot of people on here, I cannot fully set up my printer because I keep getting a message saying that 'a custom password has been set up for your printer' when I have never done such a thing. When I get to my account a lot of facilities are locked out to me because I cannot summon this 'custom password'. I read that a factory re-set has to be performed but there are no instructions anywhere to do this! All I want is to use my printer and I have wasted HOURS already. Why was a printer shipped with a password already assigned and things locked out? Why is this so painful to set up. Whatever happened to plug and play? Can someone at HP get in touch with me to remedy this!!??? VERY frustrated and VERY angry at the lack of service, customer care and just plain simple stuff! Help, anyone???
