Cannot print error light flashing next to atom looking icon
Error light flashing next to circle of an "atom". Updated wireless network settings and installed new drivers but still cannot print via WiFi. How do I clear this error light?

no air printers found
Lost power in the house a few weeks ago. Since that time my MAC and Iphone and tablet have been unable to find any air printers. I have tried a couple of things that I found online but nothing has worked and it doesn't help that I am not real tech savvy.
Has anyone else had this type issue. I used to be able to print from every device. So frustrating.

Can't use Deskjet 3820
Hi everyone,
I have Deskjet 3820 and I know it's really old but I have to use it for a while. It's temporary but I have to.
I can't use it on Win 10. I've tried but couldn't find anyway to use it.
1) HPPSdr didn't work.
2) XP driver didn't work
3) 970c driver didn't work
4) Windows manual adding didn't work. Because there is not 3820 or 970c on printer list.
Any idea?

HP Essential Software won't Install
Today I tried to scan on my HP8730 All-In-One Printer/Scanner via WiFi and it won't work!
Error message "An error occurred while communicating with the scanner. (-9923)"
Never had a problem before. Running 10.13.6 Mac OS on MacBook Pro.
Got onto HP Support with remote access and the CSR tried to download HP Essential & HP EasyScan. HP Essential Software (ie drivers) won't install???!?!?! The CSR has wiped their hands so I'm on my own.
Is there something on my Mac that might be preventing this? Very frustrated.

Try following HP Easy Scan again, only keep the HP Essential Software checked and uncheck any other option such as HP Easy Scan or HP Product Help.
May you see any difference while only downloading the essential software?

Thank you for the reply and the HP Scanner extended I've installed and seems to be working however the install of the software and drivers has still not installed completely and the Solution Center isn't working which is very frustrating.

How do I reset hp envy 5542 printer to default factory settings?
Hi there,
I'm getting the following error code on my HP Envy 5542 printer:
OXC4EB82C3
Every time I turn the printer on, the above error code appears and all the display lights flash.
I have tried resetting the printer by disconnecting power whilst idle as suggested in other threads, but this does not resolve the issue. I noticed other people had success by factory resetting the printer, could these instructions be PMed to me please?

Error message is Carriage jam. The print carriage cannot move.Open......
It came up earlier this month but then cleared itself on reset & was working last week but then I got this message again and cannot shift it. It is blocking me going to tools so I can't print a test page. I have tried everything else
When I switch off as recommended and restart it shows the main menu and then goes immediately into check routine-the carriage moves ok back and forth but it then finishes with the carriage jam error. When I say OK it repeats. Catch 22

Error installing printer software for M477fdw
I receive a very criptic fatal error message when installing the full software package, at approx. 80% in the stage "Preparing installation". The error message is:
A problem occurred while preparing to install software to your system. Please restart your computer and run this installer again.
Useless to say, restarting the computer solves nothing.
It's exactly the same error reported by Markop90 on 04-18-2017, but his solution does not work for me:
